Transparency

“Transparency is not a choice. The only choice is,

does it happen to you, or do you participate in it.”

Alex Bogusky, legendary creative director

In order to make the fashion industry accountable and sustainable, we first need to make it transparent. Transparency is the first step to transform the fashion industry and to ignite a revolution to radically change the way our clothes are sourced, produced and purchased.

COSTING STRUCTURE

Yes, that's right! We are not afraid to reveal our costing structure simply because we have nothing to hide. We don't work with insane margin profits ( some brands, especially fast fashion, have up to 90% profit margin!!! ). In fact, our ratio profit vs workmanship cost is very similar, which is very important to us. We prefer paying a fair amount for people's work than spending gazillions in marketing.

Obviously, costing structure might vary from style to style, but below you can check a overview of what it looks like:

30-40% WORKMANSHIP ( includes pattern adjustments and grading)

20-25% MATERIALS (includes fabrics, print, lining, padding, elastic, threads, metals)

10-20% OTHER COSTS ( staff salaries, all variable and fixed costs, marketing)

3% PACKAGING ( recycled paper box, recyclable plastic pouch or towel bag, tags)

7% OTHER ( transport, prototypes, fabric testing)

20-10% PROFIT ( we spend in surfboards, sunscreen, ice cream and rosé wine :)
